Educational engineer, Stéphane Guy participates in the production of ORSYS webinars. He tells us about it.
1/ What are the main characteristics of an ORSYS Business Webinar?
A Business Webinar lasts between 30 minutes and 2 hours. It allows to reach a large number of participants remotely, on average around a hundred people. It is therefore an important event which requires good preparation in advance and reliable equipment on the day. With ORSYS, designing and hosting a webinar is simple, quick and reliable.

Since this format existed, we have carried out more than 200 webinars, including 30 in 2021. We have therefore acquired expertise in organizing this type of event.
First of all, it's simple educationally. Internally, we have a dedicated team for the production of webinars. For animation, we rely on a network of expert trainers.
Then it's fast. A webinar can be produced in a month.
Finally, it is technically reliable. We have the resources in hardware, software and Internet connection which allow us to manage possible hazards.
2/ In terms of teaching, what are the main advantages of a Business Webinar?
On an educational level, our network of trainers constitutes our greatest strength. More than 1,400 expert speakers on various topics in digital technologies, management/personal development and business skills.
The webinar team consists of five people. She takes care of all the preparation upstream and, in particular, the co-construction of the webinar program and the visual support in conjunction with the speaker and the company. This 30 to 40 slide support is designed with our expert. It adapts to the subject and duration of the Business Webinar.

During the webinar, 15 minutes are devoted to questions from participants. They also have the possibility of using the chat to ask their questions as they arise. Depending on the number of participants, we provide one or two moderators who ensure the quality of interactions.
3/ How do you manage technical aspects and possible hazards?
On the technical side, we have complete equipment. For example, you should know that producing a webinar requires several computer stations. Two are intended for speakers who lead. Two others serve for moderation. A test station allows us to ensure in real time that the webinar is running smoothly for the participants.
We also have the equipment needed to manage any technical incidents that may occur during a live broadcast. For example, all our equipment is "doubled up" to enable us to deal with any unforeseen events (back-up computers). In the event of an Internet outage, we switch over to a back-up line or secondary Internet link.
For broadcasting, we use the Livestorm software solution. This allows us to produce audience data. Finally, the replay is available a few minutes after the live broadcast.
All this allows us to ensure the animation and distribution of the Business Webinar with complete peace of mind.
