National Cyber Security Authority 🟩 Authority

A national authority for cyber security is a government body responsible for overseeing, coordinating and implementing the national cyber security strategy.

It plays a crucial role in protecting a country's critical infrastructure, businesses and citizens from terrorist attacks. cyber threats ever increasing

 

Each country has set up its own cyber security authority to protect its critical infrastructures and its citizens. Some of the best known are :

  • Europe European Network and Information Security Agency (ENISA)
  • France: French National Agency for Information Systems Security (ANSSI)
  • Germany Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik (BSI)
  • Spain Centro Criptológico Nacional (CCN)
  • Belgium Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium (CCB)
