Le Shadow IT (or shadow IT) refers to all IT systems, software solutions, applications and processes used within an organisation without the approval, control or supervision of the organisation's IT department.
This includes productivity tools, cloud services, mobile applications or software that employees or teams install and use autonomously to meet their business needs.
